Ingredients:
Cake Mix –
225g 8oz Self raising flour
225g 8oz Butter
225g 8oz Caster sugar
4 Eggs
10 Drops of high strength vanilla natural flavouring
Butter cream frosting –
225g 8oz Butter
450g 1lb Icing sugar
40ml 2.5 tbsp cold water
8 Drops of high strength Bubble gum natural flavouring (adjust to taste)
Method:
Cake mix –
1. Turn oven on to 180.c
2. Prepare a cupcake tray with mini cupcake cases.
3. Put all cake mix ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix well with an electric mixer or wooden spoon.
4. Add the 10 drops of the vanilla flavour.
5. Then using a teaspoon spoon the mixture into the cupcake cases so they are half full.
6. Cook in the preheated oven for around 10-15 minutes or until golden on top.
7. Remove the cakes from the tin and leave to cool on a cooling rack.
Buttercream icing –
1. Put the icing sugar and butter in a bowl and mix with a electric whisk, if the mixture is too stiff add 1-2.5 tbsp of water.
2. Then add about 8 drops of the bubble gum flavour and mix well.
Once the cakes have cooled and the icing made you can add the icing to the cakes and decorate them if you wish with sprinkles etc…
