Ingredients
- 25g Unsalted Butter
- 125g Pudding/Arborio Rice
- 65g Caster Sugar
- 650ml Whole Milk
- 150ml Double Cream
- 20-25 Drops Foodie Flavours Chai Flavouring
- 2 Tsp Ground Cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
Servings 4-6 / Prep time 5 mins / Cook Time 40 mins
- Add all the ingredients, except the ground cinnamon, to a large saucepan.
- Stir to combine, then heat on the hob and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Place a lid on the saucepan and simmer for 30 mins, stirring occasionally.
- Remove the lid and heat for a further 10 mins to thicken.
- Take the saucepan off the heat and let the rice pudding sit for 20 mins, it will continue to thicken as it cools.
- Serve the rice pudding and sprinkle some ground cinnamon on top.
