All of our natural flavours are suitable for vegans & vegetarians and are gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free and contain no added sugar.
Our natural flavourings, extracts and oils are lovingly crafted by expert flavourists to the highest quality. Only the best natural and organic plant materials sourced from producers around the world are used to formulate our intense flavours.
Our flavours are manufactured in the UK to BRC (British Retail Consortium) standard. We offer full disclosure from our Material Specification Data Sheet (MSDS) and we also offer a scale up order service for larger quantities should your products become more popular.

The 60's
Origin Stories
Back in the 60's Harry Stringer was busy expanding his flavour empire servicing industrial food manufacturers. Pictured here with his daughter Wendy who would go on to marry Steve, one of the founders of Foodie Flavours.
2009
Marc & Steve
High strength natural flavours had long been out of reach for home bakers. Stuck with a limited choice of watered down artificial flavours.
With Steve's history in the food flavouring industry and Marc's experience with design and marketing they hit upon the idea. Why not give home bakers and small food businesses access to the same high strength and professional quality flavours used in the food industry?
So in 2009 they launched Foodie Flavours. Offering serious flavours for serious foodies.
2012
Our First Show
After years of work it was time to debut the Foodie Flavours range. We knew our flavours were seriously good – but would the public agree?
Yes! We were swamped with interest at our first food shows in 2012. Bakers couldn't get enough and were blown away by the flavour's strength, quality and the range of flavours to choose from.
2014
Getting Established
The time was right for our high strength natural flavourings to become a kitchen essential, so Foodie Flavours soon got busy ramping up production. Expanding the range to over 60 flavours with many more for commercial customers. And establishing a new product size which suited home bakers.
Constantly developing new products, working closely with our customers whose feedback we value greatly.
2020
A rumble in the jungle
Foodie Flavours launches Gorilla Vanilla. An organic vanilla extract made from organic vanilla beans grown in Uganda and extracted in the UK.
With the vanilla market lacking something special Foodie Flavours developed this premium quality organic extract. Providing a vanilla flavour with real depth and richness. Gorilla vanilla is as bold and strong as a silverback gorilla.
Gorilla Vanilla also does good. Helping to provide jobs and income for locals in Uganda who can now farm and sell vanilla. Contributing to a reduction in poaching and protection for the mighty mountain Gorillas.
2021
Gift Collections
Foodie Flavours launches Gift Collections. Boxed gift sets specially curated for bakers, brewers and chocolatiers. These include flavours from the range of high strength natural flavourings.
2022
Organic Extracts
Foodie Flavours launches a new range of Organic Extracts for baking. These premium quality extracts raise the bar, offering organic options for bakers looking for traditional extracts.
2023
Hey Huni
Foodie Flavours launches Huni, an acacia honey based natural alternative to the artificial coffee syrups full of refined sugar.

Oh Wow!
‘Oh wow!’ has established itself as a key phrase to describe Foodie Flavours. As we have exhibited our products over the years we've heard ‘Oh Wow!’ from the many visitors as they smell Foodie Flavours for the first time.
Our natural flavours are carefully developed to provide high strength and flavour accuracy. Our professional products are always a big hit a shows such as The BBC Good Food Show, Cake International and The Cake & Bake Show.
