Black Truffle Tagliatelle

This black truffle tagliatelle is indulgence at its finest, bringing restaurant quality flavour straight to your kitchen. Silky ribbons of pasta coated in a creamy, black truffle infused sauce that’s deep, earthy, umami, and beautifully aromatic. Finished with a generous sprinkle of parmesan and fresh chopped parsley, it’s simple yet sophisticated.

Ingredients

  • 300g Tagliatelle Pasta
  • 50g Salted Butter
  • 2 Cloves Garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 Tbsp Plain Flour
  • 200ml Double Cream
  • 85g Grated Parmesan
  • 30-35 Drops Foodie Flavours Black Truffle Flavouring
  • Black Pepper
  • Chopped Parsley

Instructions

Servings 2 / Prep time 5 mins / Cook time 10 mins

  1. Cook the pasta following the instructions on the packet. Once cooked, set aside 150ml of the water and drain the rest.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, add the butter to a saucepan and once melted add the chopped garlic and black pepper to taste. Cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Mix in the flour to form a paste, then add 150ml water from the cooked pasta. Stir until smooth.
  4. Pour in the cream and parmesan, stir until combined.
  5. Remove from the heat and stir in the Black Truffle natural flavouring.
  6. Mix together the pasta and the sauce.
  7. Serve and top with chopped parsley and a sprinkling of parmesan.
